| New EPOS 'M' Series Speaker |
 |
We are pleased to announce that the new EPOS 'M' series of speakers
are available for demonstration in store today. This improved range
of speakers builds upon the strength and quality of its predecessor,
which was a highly regarded design with natural musicality ability.
Now EPOS has pushed this envelope still further with a striking new
line-up that features a wealth of improvements from both aesthetic and
sonic standpoints.
The new M5i and M12i, which replace the M5 and M12.2 series speaker
respectively, have a completely new cabinet design and finish. This
box itself now displays chamfered edges with improved internal bracing
and a substantially thicker front baffle construction, all wrapped in
carefully book-matched real wood veneers. The crossover has also been
greatly improved with the use of high quality all-film capacitors and
hand finishing on all internal wiring and connections. |
| Indeed, even the speaker chassis itself has been revised
and is now of a cast aluminium construction over the previous version's
plastic variety. All of which takes an already capable and enjoyable speaker
to a new heightened level of performance, involvement and musicality -
come in today and experience the new EPOS 'M' series for yourself, we
love them and you will too! |

| Naim NS01 |
The first ever server from Naim has arrived! Capable of storing your CD collection in an uncompressed format it delivers an unprecedented level of sound quality previously unheard of from conventional computer based server solutions.
Impressively, it can offer sound quality potentially greater than that of the original CD itself by over sampling the disc many times to end up with a correct bit for bit copy.

On the front of the unit a USB connector allows easy connection of your mp3 player/ipod, the NS01 will then instantly add all of the content to the servers music database.
The Hard disc is duplicated to prevent loss of data and further cost effective NAS drives can be added for additional storage space as your collection expands. This is a hugely exciting development for us as it promises to bring server technology to the discerning audiophile for the first time. On demonstration now £3000.

| Brand New Cyrus AV Master 8.0 |
We've waited a long time... but the best things are worth waiting for and this new home cinema amplifier is definitely one of the best yet!
AV Master 8.0 is an all new surround sound processor/ pre-amplifier of immense sound quality in true Cyrus tradition it's also incredibly easy to use - a much undervalued criteria for us all. Built in the familiar Cyrus magnesium casting which is just 8.5" wide and 3" tall it is compact and neat with an absolute minimum of display and buttons. Included in the design, however, are three amplifier stages to power various speakers in a standard 5.1 or 7.1 cinema design configurable to front, side or rear use. A separate stereo power amp is required to power the remaining two channels in 5.1 modes. Choices here are various; essentially anything from the Cyrus range will do, although as it's most likely to power the front stereo pair, responsible for music playback, it makes sense to have the best one you can afford. A demonstration will enable you to decide. Go for it!
AV Master 8.0 can be connected to an existing preamplifier or operate as a preamplifier on its own and it is capable of delivering superb stereo performance just with a cd player. A stereo bypass function allows the signal path to remain clean, clear, short and pure.
Probably the most surprising feature to consider, bearing in mind all of the above, is the cost of this stunning new addition to the Cyrus range. This is an area where this device will win a lot of new friends! Amplifiers of this quality are not only usually large and complex but typically cost around £1500. So, considering that the Cyrus AV master 8.0 is only £700 and a matching power amp is a minimum of £400; that's £1100 all in. It really is a veritable bargain, almost a steal!
This may well be the star of 2007 and you owe it to yourself to audition it before any alternatives. |

Introducing the brand new Dila projector currently amazing all viewers. With both horizontal and vertical lens shift (+/- 80% vertical and +/- 34% Horizontal), along with an astonishing 15000:1 contrast ratio without the need for an iris this new model can provide amazing white detail next to inky blacks without any brightness compression.

The high quality lens uses 16 elements in 13 groups to significantly reduce lens aberration and ensure perfect focus, it also has a huge throw ratio, for example, a 100" screen would mean the HD1 can be positioned from 3 to 6m away.

| Arcam Solo Movie 5.1 - On Demonstration! |
PJ Hi-fi would like to invite you to an audition of the fabulous new offering from Arcam.
The long awaited Solo Movie 5.1 has now arrived at our store in Guildford, and of course is on permanent demonstration. All you have to do is call in, telephone or e-mail and we will arrange a listening and viewing session.
We have a wide range of loudspeakers that will match up with the Solo movie and you can decide which combination is the one for you in our comfortable home cinema room, and test drive our new sofa at the same time!
Don't forget, we can also organise the delivery and installation of your selected system, and ensure that you get the very best from your investment.
Solo Movie 5.1 is an exciting development of the existing Solo Music 'one box solution' that has proven so successful since its launch twelve months ago. Solo Movie 5.1 represents a considerable advance for owners of Solo Music as well as for newcomers to Arcam wishing to minimize the box count without compromising performance.

A few of the major features Solo Movie provides: - 5 x 50 Watts of Linear amplification for stunning movie and music playback, along with full pre-outs for future upgradability. - Dolby and DTS decoding algorithms for processing of both the internal DVD drive and also from external sources, e.g. Sky HD. - DAB Digital radio alongside both AM/FM tuners. - SACD/DVDA playback offering higher resolution audio than a conventional CD in both stereo and surround formats. - Flexible Connectivity, with both HDMI and component video switching alongside coaxial, optical and analogue audio inputs. - Video upscaling up to 1080i for DVD playback, providing increased resolution to your display device. - All of the Ipod docking functionality that the original Solo Music contained. |

| Imminent arrival of Sony VPL-VW50, NEW 1080P SXRD projector! |
PJ hi-fi is pleased to announce the imminent arrival of the Sony VPL-VW100's new sibling, the VPL-VW50. This new unit codenamed 'Pearl' during development is a stunning breakthrough in performance for its price point.
The projector is of course 1080p thanks to Sony's third generation SXRD technology with .61-inch panels (the same as VW100) and sports a dynamic contrast ratio of 15,000:1 with the static contrast ratio of 5,000:1, and a dynamic iris with all new algorithms.
Unlike its bigger brother a 200-watt UHP Lamp is being utilized rather than a xenon unit which has been a key factor in hitting the unit's key price point.

Following the highly successful launch event last week we are pleased to announce the price for this unit is £3350. The pre order list is filling quickly, but we still have units available for delivery in the first UK batch, call now to avoid dissapointment!
Further specifications and details will appear here shortly so keep checking back regularly for the biggest projector launch of the year! |

that this amount of money can buy. Important new features: DVDA, SACD playback
to access the new high resolution audio media. In addition the picture on the
latest generation of plasmas, projectors and LCD display devices is dramatically
improved with the inclusion of an onboard Scaler. On demonstration now. See Ben
